I really don’t know how hard this must be for you guys, rookies especially, to have this happen to the team. You haven’t had the chance to experience this community to the fullest, but I hope that one day we get to see you on the field playing for us, and that you’ll see how special this community is. This club has given so much to us over the years and I hope you love this club and city as much as we have grown to. You guys will get through this and come out stronger, of that I have no doubt. Hi Phoebe! I was really looking forward to seeing what the rookies would do on the pride and in the NWSL in general. I'm really sorry this is how you have to start your pro career. I've seen the videos and pictures and you guys were working so hard. I was so looking forward to seeing your team’s comeback this year. I knew you guys were gonna surprise a lot of people. If I were to give you one piece of advice, this is what it would be: Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Be tough. Because I know you are. Phoebe, I hope you and all your teammates are doing well. I’m sad we weren’t able to watch you play this season, but hopefully next season will come faster! Also, WAHOOWA!! I’m from Virginia and have loved UVA and UVA soccer almost all my life, so it’s always so exciting to see players out of Virginia going professional. I truly believe things happen for a reason, so all of this was just meant to be and I know the Pride will come back stronger than ever. I’m so sorry that your first professional season turned out this way! I know that you’ll be able to come back just as good as you’ve ever been next year, but the loss still stings.
