Even though you haven’t been a part of this club for long, I can already tell that you love and cherish it as much as us fans do. It warms my heart to see you in a Pride jersey! I’ve looked up to you as a player for quite some time, and to now have you as part of my favorite club team is amazing. I’m sad we didn’t get to see you play this season, but I know we’ll make up for it in 2021! The way you fit right into this team and how you’ve embraced its spirit and sense of family is beautiful to see. Can’t wait to cheer you on in goal next season, you continue to inspire so many people! – Dani
Hiii Erin, you've been one of my favorite players for a really long time and now getting to see you in a pride jersey, just makes my heart so happy and full of love! I used to be a goalkeeper when I was younger but stopped playing because I didn't have any female players to look up to, I hope you understand that you guys are changing the history, and that young girls are watching y'all wishing that someday they can be in that position as well... I'm beyond grateful that those kids have women like you to be inspired from, you are an amazing human being and I can't wait to watch you as a pride player! -Akemi (Dolly)
Erin, when I heard Pride had contracted you for their new season, I was so excited. I have seen some of your games, especially playing for Canada, and I knew how great of addiction you would be for the team. Knowing even more that you had already friends on the team I knew you would be the perfect fit. I know how excited you were to come back on the field and play again after a hard time, but I also know you will not give up and this is the mentality of this team. You will all come back stronger and ready whenever the league is ready. Thank you for the love you have for this team and for the fans. We appreciate you and we can not wait to see you play - Georgia
As a USWNT fan, I never really followed the CANWNT (of course, unless it was to watch one of those great rivalry matches), so I didn’t know much about you before you came to the Pride. But, you gained my respect without even being able to see you play for us. You have no idea how great it is to see someone be so proud of a club you support. It made me so happy that the club signed you because with your attitude and kindest soul, you clearly belong here. I am heartbroken that this is how 2020 turned out, but i’m going to be holding out hope that we’ll be able to see you rep that badge proudly on the field. I wish you the best during this time, but just know that you are already so loved among the Orlando fans. We support you and are behind you, much love. -- A.
Erin, this is not the first time I've been lucky enough to see you play for my team - as a native of Houston, I've had a front row seat to the incredible passion and leadership you bring to every moment of every game, and I was delighted to see you sign for Orlando this year. I know that this is a new and unexpected challenge, and a massive disappointment for you and your teammates, but I've seen your resiliency firsthand and know that if anyone can take this challenge on and help the Pride turn fortune around, it will be you - with all the tenacity, passion, and skill that I remember loving years ago. We're so happy to have you, and I cannot wait to see you play again. It's always a privilege. -Eli
Hi Erin! I was so excited when I heard you’d be joining the Pride! I’ve seen you play for Canada over the years and you’re a player I really look up to! In the short amount of time you’ve been with Orlando, you’ve definitely shown you belong here. I’ve already accumulated so much more respect for you - your heart and dedication to this club is already so apparent, and that is a testament to you as both a person and a player. It’s disappointing to say the least that we haven’t been able to see you playing in purple on the pitch yet, but I just know you’ll come back better than ever in 2021, proudly repping that badge and doing amazing things for the club! You already have so much support and so much love from all us Pride fans! Excited for the future -- Kye
I could tell how excited you were to join the Pride, and I’m so sorry that your first season went this wrong. It’s so nice to see that enthusiasm, especially from such a seasoned player. You already fit in so well with this team, and I’m excited to see how well that’ll translate to on-field chemistry. We’re all so excited to have you here! I can’t wait to see you play your first game for Orlando, whenever the time comes. Until then, stay strong! Us fans are behind you and supporting you no matter what. Sending so much love and good vibes! --Ana Lise
